Image processing
PhotoSizeKit reads the image you select into browser memory, resizes it, and encodes a new JPG on your device. Its application code does not upload your image, image name, or output to a server. It does not store your image in cookies or browser storage. Clearing the image or closing the tab releases the working copy. Downloaded images remain on your device.
Website access and analytics
This website has no advertising scripts and does not require an account or sign-in. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views and website performance, such as page loading times. Cloudflare processes these analytics measurements on its servers. Learn more in Cloudflare’s Web Analytics documentation.
The resizer processes photos and signatures locally in your browser as described above. The hosting provider may also process routine connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the website.
What the checks mean
PhotoSizeKit compares the JPG's byte count and pixel dimensions with the limits you enter. It uses 1 KB = 1,000 bytes. It cannot confirm official application requirements, identity, image age, background suitability, or whether an application portal will accept your image. Always follow the current instructions on your form and review the downloaded image.
Using the tool
You retain rights to your images. Select only images you are entitled to process. The tool is offered as a free tool, without a guarantee of availability or fitness for a particular application. Keep your original file. PhotoSizeKit is independent and is not affiliated with any examination authority or government agency.
